This is why no other player has been named an NBA MVP since 2013

If that was the preseason, there’s no telling how wild a ride the regular season will be. The Dubs closed out their exhibition slate with a 107-96 thrill-a-minute victory over the visiting Trail Blazers on Friday, and the packed house at Oracle Arena loved every minute of it.
Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant offered plenty of evidence defending why no other player has been named an NBA MVP since 2013, and the result was a showcase of highlights that can be looped over and over on Vine.

Curry owned the first half, particularly the second quarter when he knocked down four of his eight 3-pointers. The Dubs guard tallied 35 points in 28 minutes on the night, and Durant took over where Curry left off in the third quarter. The first-year Warriors forward connected on 14 of his 28 points in the third period
